Pediatric Gastroenterologist Opportunity- Norwalk, CT
Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP), affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College (NYMC), is seeking one full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist. The candidate selected will join the BCHP's Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at a location in Norwalk, CT with privileges at Norwalk Hospital. This will also include privileges at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH) within the Westchester Medical Center newtwork in Valhalla, NY.
BCHP's Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology has a dedicated team of eleven pediatric gastroenterologists providing comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders. Two of our Division members are hepatologists. We are the major referral center for gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders in the lower Hudson Valley. Our relationship with many specialists allows us to treat a wide variety of disorders. This includes but is not limited to care for all the common GI disorders as well as a multidisciplinary approach to feeding disorders, intestinal rehabilitation, Aerodigestive disorders, and advanced liver disease with liver transplantation and pre- and posttransplant care.
The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital provides us with an opportunity to take care of complex patients and their associated gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
We are looking to add a member to our busy and thriving practice in Norwalk, CT. We have an excellent facility there and a large referral base. The individual who is selected will be fully incorporated into our division. We have three other physicians that see patients at Connecticut locations. Procedures will be performed at Norwalk Hospital, the Norwalk Surgery Center, and the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a 150-bed children’s hospital located on the 600acre Westchester Medical Center campus, includes an 18-bed PICU and a 55-bed NICU. It serves as the regional hub for pediatric care and is home to the WMC Pediatrics Residency and Fellowship Programs.

Salary:
The salary of this position will be approx. $220,000-$240,000 per year, negotiable based on experience
